What we need to do in The Borough, in response to climate change

 

We have a clear plan that directs our action and the Council

The Action Plan outlines the work Council and the community need to do to meet our targets, in particular to become a Zero Carbon Community by 2031. The 49 actions outlined in the plan guide Council decision-making and were developed through community consultation and informed by expert assessments such as the Renew report.

 

What can I do?

Our Action Plan makes it easy for you to do the right thing. Download the full plan, inform yourself and get inspired to do things like:

  • Learn about our local culture and heritage at on-country cultural heritage sessions with the Wadawarrung

  • Improve the energy efficiency of your home or shift to renewable energy sources with the support of Council, QCAN and our partners

  • Have your say in our active transport strategy

  • Help develop key partnerships and volunteer at events with local organisations like Queenscliff Music Festival
