Our Mission
We are a charity organisation fuelled by a small group of local volunteers and led by a committee, that engages our local community to consider, mitigate against and adapt to the increasing impacts of climate change.
Our Vision

Together, we work with our community, Council, and the Wadawurrung People to protect the land and our people from the impact of climate change. Read our latest annual report to learn about the actions we are taking toward this vision.
Purpose
To engage, inspire, and mobilise our community to address the impact of climate change - social, environmental and economic - by taking (climate) action now.
We make it easier for local residents to take small actions that have a big impact on our collective goal to live in a zero-emissions community by 2030.
We ensure that the actions contained in our CERP are easily understood and can be undertaken by anyone in our community.

Objectives
Together, we aim to protect our environment and each other through thoughtful actions.
The objectives of QCAN are:
1. To promote action to mitigate and adapt to the harmful impacts of climate change on our community and beyond, working in partnership with Wadawurrung Traditional Owners and our local council, The Borough of Queenscliffe.
2. To protect and enhance our natural environment and increase our region's environmental sustainability.
3. To assist our community and council to implement the CERP and share our learnings with other communities to widen the impact.
4. To help educate our community on climate change and environmental sustainability, inspiring individuals and organisations to make a positive difference.
